Senior Database Core Engineer
Overview
Matisse Software, developer of the Post-Relational SQL database, is seeking
for a Senior Software Engineer for its Matisse Database Management System.
In this position, you will be in charge of development of new Matisse
database features.
Responsibilities
Help with implementing replication features for the database
Design and develop new features to improve parallel processing in an object environment
Responsibilities include client-server networking and advanced physical modeling
Requirements
- BS CS/EE/Physics/Math with 5+ years experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of database internals, preferably working in a database company
- Strong C & C++ programming skills
- Multithreaded programming skills
- Multi-platform familiarity, including Unix and Windows
- Development of complex algorithms desirable
